Cam started Laser in 2018 as an owner/operator hauling machines behind a minivan to provide a needed service in northern British Columbia as a reliable line painting company. 

Since the start of Laser, the team and the type of work has grown considerably. The addition of asphalt maintenance as well as snow plowing during the winter months has brought the company to new heights. That being said, Cam has taken the ownership role full force with hiring people to overtake the sales, estimator, technician, project manager, and marketing divisions so he can focus on helping those people to grow within the company as well as providing an environment for them the thrive.

When Cam isn't working away he's typically spending all of his time with his three kids.

Robyn has been apart of team Laser since 2018, watching the company grow from a one man operation out of the back of a minivan to seeing new team members work together to build something incredible.

"Family is extremely important and I work hard to ensure that our team knows that family and mental health are important to nurture and take care of. Which is why we have policies and procedures in place to keep everyone in the company safe. I also am comfortable being put to work wherever I am needed. If you need me to do something I will absolutely do it. If I don't have the answer, I will go out and find it and we can learn together. I don't mind saying "I don't know" but that isn't the end of the discussion with me. Because its important to me that I never leave anyone feeling like what they're worried about isn't important. I also have a high standard for customer service."

Besides caring for her family at home and at Laser, Robyn is also a plant lover. In her downtime she's rescuing people's dying plants and reviving them. Mainly because "Cam says no to more animals".

Scott

Scott's favourite part of working at Laser so far has been the team, getting to know everyone, how we operate as a company, and where we need to strive for in the future.

When Scott isn't working he's typically on a motorcycle heading through backroads all across the country and then some. You can view his travels on his instagram page @otbp.moto.

With years of experience in all sorts of industries Scott has come to live in the belief that "People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it". This belief is one of the many reasons why we are excited to have Scott apart of the team.

Sales / Estimating

Liam has been with Laser since 2023. He originally was hired to assist in our snow removal operations and sidewalk crew-  but now is full time in our Sales and Estimating department.

When Liam isn't crushing estimates or visiting our customers, he's building computers or gaming on his designs.
